Vishu 2017

As far as I know, vishu is the keralite's festival of new year. The new year starts in the beginning of summer, where the farmers seeds the crops and start cultivation. Within the 3-4 months rainy season starts and the grains of rice and all other cultivations will get enough water and the ONAM will soon come in September or near,as the festival of harvest.

So clearly the vishu Is the beginning of mew year, which was made on the Malayalam calender which was made by thousands of farmers and scientists of previous generations.

How did this collection of knowledge and experience from nature ended up in astrology and mere landlords?

The new year is for farmers, onam is their harvest. Where is the land lords coming?  No where. But now these celebrations have been hijacked by the some people and have branded on a set of people named Hindu.

Who is this this Hindu?
From my knowledge Hindu is a person who was living on the shores of sindhu river.
The Arabs called them AlSindh, later AlHind and later it converted to Hindu and the place was called as Hindustan.

I still don't know how does the lands below Himalayas, eastern parts of India (including Bangladesh which was once together),the middle part of India including Rajasthan, madhyapradesh,Andhra, and the southern Karnataka, kerala and Tamil Nadu became a part of People living in the shores of sindh'???

The Aryan savarnna invasions from the north ,killed almost all the tribal people of Indian subcontinent, hijacked their all belongings and claims that the land was theirs from the beginning of history. No one still doesn't thinks that history is always the creation of some one.

Vishu is now branded as a Hindu festival. Muslims rejected it,Christians rejected it and almost all. Also, Hindu Is a brand today. All the deprived class, tribes and local people have all been added to the category of Hindus.

Why do you use a krishna statue in vishu? What does vishnu have to do with Vishu? Nothing at all!
Believers were forced to add their idols and beliefs into the culture of the land and to bribe the next generation.

What is the use of crackers in vishu? Why do we light up them? It's like deepavali,a customary symbolization of remembrance of the killing of an asura by Krishna.

The savarnnas have classified the tribal and dravida kings of the land as asuras and have been celebrating their murder by savarnas.
Yes the crackers you are enjoying are symbolizing the death of people and culture of this land.

Stop using religious symbols and idols in vishu. Stop burning crackers. Use that money to buy a packet of food and a little water to the orphans and poor.

Happy Ambedkar Jayanthi
